Two months after the death of Alain Delon, on August 18, 2024, the future of the Douchy estate is still uncertain. For his first speech since the disappearance of his father, Anthony Delon spoke at the microphone of RTL, affirming that he would like to transform the 55-hectare estate into a museum dedicated to the star.

“I would like this house to continue to live, one way or another”he said, putting forward the idea of making it a place of pilgrimage for the actor’s many fans, like what was done for Serge Gainsbourg, in or for Jean Gabin, in Mériel (Val d’Oise).

But Anthony Delon, who says he comes to Douchy “two to three times a week”, knows that he is not alone in making this decision. “We are three children”he concedes on RTL. However, he assures that “It was not one of his wishes that it not become a public place”. Transforming the Douchy estate into a place of worship “would please him”, he concludes.

Anthony Delon is present this Sunday, October 20, in the afternoon, at the Light Festival for the screening of Plein soleil, René Clément’s masterpiece, closing in front of 5,000 people. This is the first public tribute, because the “Cheetah” did not want a national tribute.
