Welsh, waterzoï, carbonnade…: four Hauts-de-France restaurants in competition in the new M6 culinary show

We don’t have broths like in or corks like in , but we can boast of having estaminets in -Pas-de-. And that’s good: the new M6 show called “The best regional cuisine is at home!” » will highlight the “local cuisine”, “love of the land” et “regional pride”.

From October 28 to November 1, the jury composed of the two chefs Norbert Tarayre and Yoann Conte will be in Hauts-de- and to visit four restaurants in each region to taste traditional dishes and give them ratings. In addition to the quality of nature, the places will also be judged on their welcome and their decoration.

Welsh, waterzoi, potjevleesch…

Every day, a new regional duel is planned based on welsh, waterzoï, potjevleesch or even carbonade. For Hauts-de-France, on October 29, the Un Air de Famille estaminet in Marquette-lez- will open the ball of taste festivities opposite La Table du Beffroi in Boulogne-sur-Mer. A land versus sea battle that promises to be juicy. Thursday October 31 will see two estaminets compete against each other: Lille’s Ch’tite Brigitte and Le Pot Flamand de Thiant.
