Director of the French Alliance of Irkutsk, Mathieu Roussel is arrested at his home, in front of his daughter, Rose, before being placed in pre-trial detention on the grounds that he allegedly distributed pedophile documents on the Internet. Mathieu is in reality the victim of a kompromat, a scheme by the Russian intelligence service. The diplomat risks life imprisonment and will have to change, alone, the course of his destiny.
