The results of the municipal elections in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre

The municipal elections of October 13, 2024 are used to elect the college and the municipal council of your municipality, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre. Politics in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre

This October 13, the municipal elections take place. The citizens of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre (1150) are going today to the 27 polling stations set up for the occasion, in order to elect their representatives. They will receive an electoral mandate for a period of 6 years, which will take effect from the following January 1: 37 seats will be filled. The town of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre has 42,216 inhabitants, called the Woluwéens and Woluwéennes, or the Sanpétrusiens and Sanpétrusiennes. Like eighteen other municipalities, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre is part of the Brussels-Capital Region. During the 2018 elections, the elected majority was made up of three political groups: Mayor’s List/CDH, liberals and independents, DéFI and Ecolo-Groen. Since 2013, the city’s first magistrate has been Benoît CEREXHE, present in 2018 with the Mayor’s List 1160, affiliated with the CDH party. He is accompanied by eight aldermen: Alexandre PIRSON and Françoise DE CALLATAY for list LB1160-CDH; Dominique HARMEL for LB1150-Liberals and independents; Helmut DE VOS for LB1150-CD&V; Caroline LHOIR, Antoine BERTRAND and Raphaël VAN BREUGEL for the Ecolo-Groen political party; and finally Karine KOLCHORY for the DéFI party. The president of the CPAS is Philippe VAN CRANEM. The advisors come from different entities from, on the one hand, the majority (LB1160, DéFI and Ecolo-Groen), and on the other hand, the opposition (Open MR, Independent). For the LB1160 list, are present: Philippe VAN CRANEM, Damien De Keyser, Christophe DE BEUKELAER, Georges DALLEMAGNE, Marie CRUYSMANS, Anne DELVAUX and Hatiana Martine LUWANA. Jonathan de PATOUL is the elected advisor of the Défi list for Woluwe1150. The elected officials affiliated with Ecolo-Groen are Christiane MEKONGO ANANGA, Gerda POSTELMANS, Sophie BUSSON and Danièle VAN CROMBRUGGHE-GRULOOS. The Open MR party is personified by Willem DRAPS, Anne-Charlotte d’URSEL, Christine SALLÉ, Alexia BERTRAND, Tanguy VERHEYEN, Etienne DUJARDIN, Laurent de SPIRLET, Olivia CASTERMAN, Muriel GODHAIRD-STERCKX and Juliette SIAENS-MAHIEU. Finally, Aymeric DE LAMOTTE, Cathy VAESSEN and Michel NAETS are Independent elected officials.
