This is the new series that will thrill you! This Wednesday October 9, TF1 broadcasts the first two episodes of Nightsleepera nervous thriller made in England, headlined by the revelation of Peaky Blinders. Divided into 6 episodes, this mini-series written by Laura Grace and Nick Leather takes us aboard a night train hijacked by a mysterious device.

Summoning the serial codes like 24 Hours Chronos in plunging us into a real-time plot, Nightsleeper was launched with the desire to become the new Bodyguard. And all 6 episodes however take somewhat expected paths, and do not really succeed in avoiding certain obstacles such as clichés or predictable twists, the fact remains that the investigation takes place before the eyes of the spectators who want to unravel it.
Incarnated by Alexandra RoachAbby Aysgarth is the technical director of the National Cybersecurity Center. Throughout the attack, she keeps in touch with Joe Rang (Joe Cole, therefore), a heroic former police officer who will be confronted with numerous dangers while his interlocutor will try to neutralize the threat and identify its origin. If we are immersed in a race against time from the start, the tension rises at the same time as the revelations follow one another.

Who hijacked the train?
After a series of twists and turns, we finally learn that the mastermind of this whole operation is none other than Pev, Abby’s mentor. A former employee of the National Cyber Security Center, he was the one who hacked the data center and anonymously recruited the Glasgow team to use code from Abby’s Mashhad Project, and stage this operation. And this with the aim of teaching a lesson on national security.
Before losing his job, he had in fact written a report on the vulnerability of the British railway network. But at the time, no one took him seriously and his research was simply dismissed by his colleagues. Except that Pev’s plan didn’t really go as planned, since the train should not have contained any passengers and that Abby should have been on vacation and therefore out of danger.
We explain the end of Nightsleeper
While he had scheduled the train to end its journey at Victoria Station in London by crashing near the headquarters of the National Cyber Security Center, Abby managed to stop it in time, using the safety device automatic train system which allows them to stop at a red light. She saves all the passengers and meets Joe on the station platform. The latter, who was discovered to have stolen £200,000 during a mission when he was a police officer, then explains that he will turn himself in and face justice.
