At Sciences Po, blockades continue in support of Palestine, even after the reporting and summoning of four students ordered by the new director of the establishment, Luis Vassy. On the contrary, the students are revolting. These students are now supported by one of the figures of Insoumise, European MP Rima Hassan.

The director of Sciences Po, Luis Vassy, represses solidarity movements with Palestine. But opposite, MEP Rima Hassan shows her support for the blockades made by the students to show their solidarity with Palestine. “All my support to the students.” This is the message posted by Rima Hassan this Wednesday on these social networks, in reaction to the intervention the same day by the police to unblock the establishment barricaded by a hundred students.

Among the targeted students, Hicham Touili-Idrissi, parliamentary collaborator of Rima Hassan

Anger was galvanized by the summons of four students on Tuesday after a series of pro-Palestinian demonstrations. Already last week, the new director of Sciences-Po took legal action upon his arrival following these demonstrations. Among the targeted students, Hicham Touili-Idrissi, founder of the Palestine Action Committee, who called for an Intifada last month on his social networks.

He had also already been summoned in July following a complaint for inciting hatred on grounds of race or religion. During a pro-Gaza meeting, the student refused to let a young woman belonging to the Union of Jewish Students of France into the amphitheater. Hicham Touili-Idrissi is today the parliamentary collaborator of MEP Rima Hassan.
