Engines and pricing

Despite its high-end positioning, the Bigster will be launched at a price of less than €25,000 for the thermal versions. An offer that will provide significantly affordable access to the services of the C-SUV segment.

The Bigster’s 155 hp full-hybrid (HEV) offering introduces a new 1.8 liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine, coupled to the clutch gearbox of the Renault Austral and Rafale. Emitting only 115 g of CO2/km, this version will be priced below €30,000 at entry level. Another economical solution, the Bigster will offer a gasoline/LPG dual-fuel version, a new version of the new three-cylinder turbo 1.2 TCe, developing 140 hp on gasoline and 130 on LPG. The vehicle will also offer a 4×4 transmission associated with the launch of the TCe 130 petrol engine.

A diesel version is planned for the Moroccan market. However, Dacia customers will have to wait until the second half of next year to be able to benefit from it.
