Injuries can ruin a team’s season, especially when they affect key players. Losing a player as important as Thibaut Courtois for an entire season could weaken any club, except the Real Madrid. The Merengues had to do without their starting goalkeeper throughout the season, but despite this absence, they still won two major titles: La Liga and the Champions League.
