Daniil was kind enough to talk about BetBoom, a Russian media his relationship with Novak Djokovic since he arrived on the circuit. The Russian’s comments confirm that the image of the Serb is quite distorted by the media.
“I always said that training with Novak meant a lot to me. I can’t say that it was thanks to these workouts that I was able to get into the top 100 or something like that. But it was a cool experience. I always try to make people understand this, because in the media Novak is sometimes presented as not only evil, but somehow worse than someone else. But whatever my position, he always had the same attitude towards me. He is very nice, friendly, a good person and a nice player. It was really cool. In a sense, you can even use it as an example, because I was able to get into the top ten and start playing well.
