Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim: the model reveals its finesse and design

On January 22, a new Galaxy Unpacked event will be held, which will allow Samsung to present its new premium models as well as a new addition to the range: the Galaxy S25 Slim. We’ve been talking to you about it for a while now, since according to some leaks we know the processor it will carry and the characteristics of its photo part. And today, it’s the turn of the device’s design to be revealed for good, thanks to Onleaks in collaboration with Smartprix.

A thin model (but not as thin as the iPhone 17 Air)

As you can see in the photos attached to this paper, this new model will be particularly thin: according to the latest report, it should not exceed 6.4 mm. This is a little more than the iPhone 17 Air planned by Apple, which should hover around 5.5 millimeters. Including the camera, the S25 Slim reaches 8.3 millimeters in thickness, which is still less than most classic smartphones (if we do not count the camera in the balance).

But then obviously, such finesse is a choice that has to be paid for: at the same time, we learn according to the famous Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station that the iPhone 17 Air and Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim should have a much smaller battery capacity than usually. Thus, these two models will make concessions and would oscillate between 3000 and 4000 mAh in total, which remains much less than the average of current smartphones. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim should feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, coupled with 12 GB of RAM. Visit Galaxy Unpacked on January 22 to find out more.
