Samsung is preparing to enrich its mid-range range with the Galaxy A36 5G and A565G, as evidenced by recent IECEE certifications. These documents offer a detailed overview of the different variants and technical specifications of the two devices.
The Galaxy A36 5G already appears at IECEE – via MySmartPrince – under several references, notably SM-A366B, SM-A366E and SM-A366U, with dual SIM versions identifiable by the suffix “DS”. The certification body confirms support for 45W fast charging (10V 4.5A), a significant improvement over its predecessor.
Geekbench tests reveal that the A36 5G would be equipped with processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3accompanied by 6 GB of RAM. The device will run on Android 15 with the One UI 7 interface. Rumors also mention an improvement in the front camera, while the rear photo module would retain its current configuration with a 50 megapixel main sensor, an ultra wide angle of 8 megapixels and a 5 megapixel macro lens.
The Galaxy A56 5G will benefit from the same improvements
Concerning the Galaxy A565G, identified under the references SM-A566B/DS and SM-A566E/DS, it would also benefit from 45W fast charging. MIIT certification revealed a battery with a nominal capacity of 4 905 mAhwhich will probably be announced as 5000 mAh by Samsung.
-The smartphone will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1580 processor, coupled with 8 GB of RAM. It should therefore be more efficient than its little brother, the Galaxy A36 5G. The renderings published via TENAA certification also show a new design of the photo module and confirm the presence of a Dynamic AMOLED screen. Another interesting new feature, the smartphone should benefit from a new selfie sensor.
The release of these two models is expected for March 2025positioning Samsung in direct competition with Apple’s future iPhone 16e in the mid-range smartphone segment. The price of the A36 5G should be around 400 euros, maintaining the pricing strategy of its predecessor.
