Intel introduced a new series of Core Ultra 200 mobile processors based on the Arrow Lake architecture at CES 2025. This line includes processors aimed at high-performance laptops(200HX), to lightweight power-hungry laptops(200H) and ultrabooks(200U).
The range Core Ultra 200HX for enthusiasts will feature 24 to 14 cores (8-6 for performance and 16-8 for power efficiency) and Gen Xe integrated graphics. To accelerate the calculation of artificial intelligence, the processors will be equipped with a 13 TOPS NPU unit. The most powerful Core Ultra 9 285HX processor will have 36 MB of smart cache and can reach a maximum frequency of 5.5 GHz in boost mode.
The range Core Ultra 200H balanced will have 16 or 14 cores (6-4 powerful cores, 8 energy-efficient cores and 2 ultra-efficient LP E cores). The NPU unit will provide 11 TOPS for the needs of artificial intelligence.
For economical solutions, the company has prepared a range of Core Ultra 200U to 12 cores with the same configuration: 2 powerful cores, 8 energy-efficient cores and 2 very energy-efficient LP E cores.
The new processors will support DDR5-6400 memory up to 192 GB, Thunderbolt 4/5, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Off-the-shelf laptops equipped with these new chips are expected to be available by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
