On the occasion of CES 2025, the manufacturer ASUS is unveiling its brand new motherboards for the latest processors from AMD, namely those from the 9000 series. These motherboards are divided between the ROG Crosshair, ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, ProArt and Prime. They integrate features intended for players, creators, and professionals.
Compatibility and performance
ASUS X870E and X870 motherboards are fully compatible with AMD Ryzen™ 9000 series processors. They support DDR5 memory by offering higher frequencies thanks to NitroPath DRAM technology. The latter improves module retention by 57% and increases frequency by up to an additional 400 MT/s.
Next-generation connectivity
These motherboards are equipped with PCIe 5.0 connectivity. Enough to ensure increased bandwidth for the latest generation graphics cards and SSDs. Additionally, they feature USB4 Type-C ports that support up to 40 Gbps of bandwidth.
Integrated AI
ASUS integrates AI features to optimize system performance:
- AI Overclocking : Analyzes the processor and cooling system to determine the optimal configuration, safely pushing the system to its limits.
- AI Cooling II : automatically adjusts fan speed for a perfect balance between temperature and acoustics.
- AI Networking II : optimizes network performance in real time, ensuring reliable and fast connectivity, ideal for online gaming and streaming.
