CES is the battleground for AMD, Intel and Nvidia around the chips that will equip our electronic devices in 2025. For Intel, the objective is to get back on track after very difficult months.
Intel is in crisis. The brand is facing the most significant challenges in its history and can no longer really convince. In 2025, the brand must absolutely raise the bar to survive.
This is the whole point of its presentation at CES 2025 where the brand is deploying its Intel Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake” generation on laptop PCs.
After the launch of the Intel Core Ultra 200S “Arrow Lake”, here come the new series:
Intel Core Ultra 200H processors use new Intel Arc GPUs with XMX instructions, enabling new applications in AI and the use of the XeSS system (Intel's DLSS). On the CPU side, we are switching to Lion Cove and Skymont architectures, to increase performance by 15% in single and multi threads.
The 200HX range goes up a notch by offering an integrated 13 TOPS NPU, a first for an Intel processor of this caliber.
The first laptops that will integrate these chips are expected in the first quarter of the year. Intel therefore intends to launch a whole range of new machines as quickly as possible.
It is the tests of these PCs and the comparisons with ARM Qualcomm and AMD Ryzen solutions that will make it possible to decide.
