Graphics card manufacturers are not always discreet. So, Inno3d unveiled its new RTX 5090 ahead of time, here's what it looks like.
A first image of a customized NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card has appeared online. Signed Inno3D, this iChill X3 version is distinguished by a three-fan configuration, a redesigned design, and an impressive 32 GB VRAM memory.
A leak revealed by Videocardz
According to a leak relayed by our colleagues at Videocardz, this personalized edition inaugurates the new Blackwell series and succeeds the RTX 4090. Although the official marketing date remains uncertain, a presentation at CES seems likely, potentially accompanied by the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti.
The product box confirms the use of 32 GB of GDDR7 memory and a 512-bit memory bus. With a memory bandwidth reaching 1792 GB/s, this configuration marks a notable advance compared to the previous generation. Design-wise, the card retains a three-fan configuration with RGB lighting, but the shroud has been redesigned, offering a different look from the RTX 4090 iChill X3.
Impressive size and increased consumption
The case of the Inno3D RTX 5090 iChill X3 reveals a thickness of 3.5 slots, highlighting a trend towards ever larger graphics cards in Nvidia's high-end ranges. The Founders Edition model could adopt a minimum 3 slot design.
Concerning the power supply, this edition is likely to integrate a 12V-2×6 connector capable of delivering up to 600W, in line with a total power of 575W (TBP) for the RTX 5090, with possible variations on the models personalized.
A launch very soon
Although NVIDIA has not yet confirmed the official launch date, it is likely that the RTX 5090 will be revealed at CES. However, it remains to be seen if it will be available in stores from January 21, potentially alongside the RTX 5080.
