In recent weeks, several certifications have reported a new OnePlus watch which would be entitled to an even larger battery, enough to ensure better autonomy.

According to the Indian site, the OnePlus Watch 3 would retain a design very similar to that of the OnePlus Watch 2. It would have the same format with the protrusions on the right side of the case and a large screen in the center. As on the OnePlus Watch 2, it would benefit from a silicone strap that fits perfectly with the horns of the case for a more streamlined appearance.

Rotating crown, electrocardiogram and 4G

On the other hand, OnePlus would have improved certain shortcomings of its previous model. Indeed, according to Smartprixthe OnePlus Watch 3 would this time integrate a real rotating crown. Remember that the crown-shaped button of the OnePlus Watch 2 rotated… in a vacuum, without any interaction with the interface. Here, like an Apple Watch or a Pixel Watch, the crown would be used to navigate the menus.

In addition, the watch would be entitled to a new health functionality with the possibility of carrying out an electrocardiogram. A function that it lacked compared to Samsung’s Galaxy Watch or models from Google and Apple. However, this function will need to be certified by health authorities before it is made available in all countries.

Finally, according to SmartprixOnePlus has also reportedly planned a 4G connection for its new OnePlus Watch 3. However, the 4G version of the watch may only be offered for certain markets.

In addition, the watch would have more or less the same characteristics as the OnePlus Watch 2, with a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. However, it would be distinguished by a 631 mAh battery, compared to 500 mAh for the OnePlus Watch 2.

The OnePlus Watch 3 is expected in the first quarter of 2024. OnePlus could take advantage of its event on January 7 to unveil its new connected watch.
