Indiana Jones receives a second update to correct several performance issues on PC, and takes the opportunity to improve graphics rendering for Xbox consoles.
MachineGames is not idle on updates for Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle. It must be said that the technical ambition of the game is such that you must have a graphics card supporting the ray tracing to hope to play it, including with the graphics settings at minimum.
A first update addressed the game’s initial performance issues, particularly for graphics cards with 8 GB of video memory. It also fixed some unsightly artifacts related to DLSS.
A second patch has just been deployed for the game to further optimize the game’s performance when DLSS is activated, but also promises great graphical improvements for certain PC players, but also Xbox.

Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle fixes its performance issues
This new update notably corrects a stuttering problem encountered during cinematic sequences, in particular during certain transitions. Unfortunately, there is still some stuttering when transitioning between gameplay and cinematic, but it is less noticeable than before.
Various fixes have been implemented for Nvidia’s DLSS, both in terms of performance and its operation with HDR. Image generation should now work normally.
The most notable improvements are for owners of less powerful graphics cards. MachineGames fixed a bug that disabled global illumination on GPUs with less VRAM than the studio’s recommendation (8 GB). A more beautiful game, but potentially more demanding on these models.
Finally, it is Xbox owners who will be delighted as this same global illumination functionality is now corrected in “shadow areas appeared brighter than expected”.
The update is already available for PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
