Apple’s connected watches are now in version 11.2. This update is compatible with all watches that have benefited from the transition to watchOS 11, that is to say all models launched by Apple since the Apple Watch Series 6, in 2021.
As reported by the site 9to5Macthis update of watchOS to version 11.2 is relatively minor in that it is mainly limited to fixes and optimizations. However, the specialist site reports a new feature which could be particularly practical for Apple Watch owners.
Video recordings that can be paused from an Apple Watch
Indeed, watchOS 11.2 adds a new feature to the camera control application on Apple Watch. As a reminder, this application allows you to take photos or videos remotely using the watch as a remote control.
The major addition in this new update actually concerns remote video capture from the camera control app. From now on, it is possible, from the watch, to pause a recording and resume it later without recording a different file. A function offered on iPhones since iOS 18 and which now integrates the application on Apple Watch.
