Already certified by the FCC in the United States, the future OnePlus Watch 3 would have an even larger battery than the OnePlus Watch 2R, although it was named the best connected watch of 2024.
In 2024, OnePlus has come a long way back into the field of connected watches. After a first test a few years ago with a particularly disappointing OnePlus Watch, the Chinese manufacturer was able to stand out with two models, the OnePlus Watch 2 and the OnePlus Watch 2R.

OnePlus Watch 2 review: the best of connected watches, without their main flaw
These two watches have managed to offer a Wear OS ecosystem with very good battery life of more than two and a half days. A point that was particularly lacking until now in watches equipped with the Google system. The result was effective enough to push us to designate the OnePlus Watch 2R as the best connected watch of the year.
On the OnePlus side too, it seems that the results are more than positive. While some rumors in the corridors already suggested the imminent arrival of a new OnePlus Watch 3, new information points in the same direction.
A thinner OnePlus Watch 3, but with a bigger battery
As reported by the site 91Mobilesa new OnePlus watch was recently registered with the FCC, the American body in charge of telecoms regulation. Designated under the model number OPWWE251, this watch has a size of 46.6 x 47.6 x 11.75 mm very close to that of the OnePlus Watch 2, but a little less thick.
The watch would also benefit from Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity for contactless payment.
Above all, the characteristics highlighted by the FCC allow you to discover a large 631 mAh battery. For comparison, the OnePlus Watch 2 and OnePlus Watch 2R had a 500 mAh battery. Their autonomy of more than two days was the result of the dual operating system. On the other hand, Samsung allows you to ensure two days of autonomy on its Galaxy Watch Ultra thanks to its 590 mAh battery.
With a battery of more than 600 mAh, OnePlus could offer, on its OnePlus Watch 3, the best of both worlds. Not only excellent energy management, but also great endurance thanks to the battery capacity. Enough to dream and imagine a Wear OS watch capable of operating for three to four consecutive days.
We should know more about the OnePlus Watch 3 during its official presentation. This should take place at the same time as that of the OnePlus 13, early next year
