• The new 2025 Porsche Taycan GTS has been revealed.
Porsche is expanding the Taycan family with the arrival of the new GTS versions, available in sedan and Sport Turismo configuration on Canadian soil, from spring 2025.
The name GTS, synonymous with “Gran Turismo Sport”, first appeared in 1963 on the Porsche 904 Carrera GTS and has since embodied the balance between performance and versatility. The Taycan GTS is positioned between the 4S and Turbo variants in the range.
Design of the Porsche Taycan GTS 2025
At first glance, the GTS attracts attention with its exclusive details: specific rims in anthracite gray, redesigned front and rear bumpers with black accents and black mirror caps, among others.
The interior, dressed in Race-Tex and black leather, is equipped with adaptive sports seats, a multifunction GT sports steering wheel (optional with a black Race-Tex finish) and a Bose surround sound system. A GTS logo is affixed to the instrument cluster, and several interior customization options (colors, materials) are offered.
Engine of the 2025 Porsche Taycan GTS
On the technical side, this GTS version has a new permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle, increasing power by 107 horsepower. This motor, combined with a modified pulse inverter and revised thermal management, improves energy efficiency.
The Taycan GTS develops a maximum power of 690 horsepower thanks to the Launch Control function and offers optimized charging performance, as well as a sharp design. 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.3 seconds with this variant.
The Taycan GTS are equipped with high-performance batteries and a new generation heat pump which optimizes thermal management by recovering the heat released by the electrical components to heat the passenger compartment. Energy recovery when braking reaches 400 kW, and the maximum charging power on the 800 volt terminals amounts to 320 kW.
The different driving modes (Normal, Sport, Sport Plus, Individual) allow the vehicle’s behavior to be adapted to the driver’s preferences. Adaptive air suspension with PASM and PTV Plus is standard, while an Active Suspension Control system, specific to the GTS variants, is offered as an option for even sportier handling.
The Porsche Driver Experience interface has also been improved to provide a more intuitive user experience. And not to forget, the Taycan GTS also offers drivers an artificial sporty sound.
