An earlier leak revealed most of what there is to know about Intel’s upcoming Arc B580 mid-range graphics card. The Battlemage-based GPU will arrive with 12 GB of VRAM, 20 Xe cores, and performance comparable to the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. Today, Videocardz and @momomo_us revealed the final piece of the puzzle: its price.
The Intel Arc B580 was listed online for $250. This is the “Limited Edition”, i.e. Intel’s reference design. Although AIBs may offer it at a higher price, it is unlikely to cost more than $300. Plus, there won’t be many to begin with. Additionally, this will likely be the most powerful Battlemage desktop card, as the more premium Arc B770 card has been pushed back indefinitely.
Still, a $250 price tag for the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is a good deal, provided it lives up to its promises. At launch, it will compete with AMD’s Radeon RX 8000 GPUs based on AMD’s RDNA 4 Radeon RX 8000. Intel and AMD have some time to establish themselves in the mid-range GPU market before Nvidia’s RTX 50 series models hit shelves next year.
