Mago, a French startup specializing in the stylization and transformation of videos using artificial intelligence, announces a fundraising of 1.5 million euros in seed funding from Atlantic Labs, a German fund dedicated to Deep Tech startups. This funding will allow Mago to accelerate the development of its tool and double its workforce, from 6 to 12 employees.
Founded by Alvaro Lamarche Toloza and Aleksandr Spirin, Mago targets professionals in the creative industries with technology capable of transforming videos into various artistic styles (cartoons, paintings, etc.) while integrating into professional workflows. The team, building on its success with WarpFusion, an open source prototype that generated more than 150 million views, aims to launch a first version of its tool in early 2025 via a freemium model.
Mago also plans to integrate its solution with software like Unreal Engine and Blender, strengthening its position in the market of professional tools for studios, agencies and freelancers.
