PORTRAIT – Since its takeover in 2013 by Sophie and Philippe Lacoste, the winter sports brand Fusalp has returned to growth. The appointment of Pascal Conte-Jodra constitutes a new step in the strategy of the descendants of the founder of the crocodile brand.
As a child, Pascal Conte-Jodra preferred shopping with his mother to playing football. He has since made up for it. Boxing, hiking, skiing… So many sports that he masters. He also performs the splits, moving from the streets of Toulouse, his hometown, to the avenues of New York or the disadvantaged neighborhoods of Calcutta. A journey which now leads him to become the general manager of Fusalp.
As a teenager, his heart was wavering. A music lover, he readily imagined himself a rock star, while being interested in luxury and paying particular attention to the daily lives of his cardiologist parents. His taste for elsewhere prevailed, he opted for business, following a course at IAE then obtaining a master’s degree in marketing at Dauphine.
