It has now been two years since God of War Ragnarok was released and since then, if Santa Monica was still able to offer a slightly more established ending with the free DLC Valhallathere is reason to wonder what direction the saga will take. We already know that the studio is working on a brand new IP with Cory Barlog obviously at its head, but what about Kratos and Atreus? According to Christopher Judge himself, important announcements will be made very quickly.
Star of the small screen thanks to Stargate SG-1 but also of video games thanks to God of WarChristopher Judge is certainly a popular and particularly publicized personality. The voice of Kratos recently held a live broadcast on TikTok, during which he spilled the beans: according to him, “the next two weeks will be notable for announcements”with even the teasing on December 1 of a “major announcement.”
Obviously, that was all it took to fuel numerous theories: on Secret Level on Prime Video, of which we know that an episode will be dedicated to God of War. Rather intriguing fact, but the “senior staff animator” of Santa Monica, Robert Clemente, shared the post in question, which got noticed quite quickly.
As a reminder, Secret Level is an animated series produced by Tim Miller (Love, Death & Robots) whose goal is to offer anthologies with fifteen episodes for fifteen different video game adaptations. An ambitious and already highly desired project where we will be able to see Pac-Man, Warhammer 40,000, Ghost of Tsushima, Mega Man, Sifu or even The Outer Worlds and many others directly on the Amazon platform. It remains to be seen if Secret Level will indeed be part of the announcements promised by Judge or if the latter is indeed talking about a new video game project (or both).
