Tecno has launched a new budget smartphone, the Pop 9 5G, in the Indian market, in an attempt to compete with the Redmi A4 5G.
Here’s what we know
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 48MP primary camera with Sony IMX582 sensor, and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor based on a 6nm process. The model supports 5G, has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of expandable internal storage.
The smartphone has a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging support and runs Android 14 with HiOS 14 interface. The rear camera is equipped with artificial intelligence to enhance photos, and there is a camera 8MP front for selfies. The Pop 9 5G also has IP54 protection, NFC, IR blaster, Dolby Atmos and dual speakers.
The price of the smartphone starts at Rs 9,499 (around $112) and is available on Amazon in India.
