Developed by Apollosoft with assistance from Mebius Goblin Slayer -Another Adventurer- Nightmare Feast is a fun hybrid between visual novel and 2D turn-based strategic role-playing game. Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast was born from an original concept by the series’ original creator, Kumo Kagyu, and is identifiable as a true spin-off. The characters in the story, in fact, are original and the story is completely new even though it takes place in the same world as the manga with the same iconic creatures (did someone say “goblin”? ). Additionally, characters from the original series are present but not with frontline roles (yes, there’s the Goblin Slayer, obviously). Proceeding in order, the events mainly concern a young, anonymous heroine who inherits the role of “manager of the adventurers’ guild” from her deceased father. This heroine, however, decides not to limit herself to the role of administrator of expeditions and associated adventurers but launches herself into the field as a warrior adventurer, motivated to directly defend the lands with her own blade. Among the first characters he meets is a “Blood Princess” (that’s what she is called), a vampire with an exuberant and particularly selfish character. And it is precisely with these creatures that he forms his first bond, giving rise to many problems given the dark and not exactly crystalline nature of the predator (vampires are not frowned upon). To add further spice to the events, in addition to a series of bizarre allies among whom a white bear “priest” stands out, there is also a magical artifact which is supposed to bring the dead back to life.
