The Italian manufacturer has been the exclusive tyre supplier for the Audi RS4 since its launch 25 years ago. In addition to the original tyres, Pirelli is providing its buyers with a sports kit equipped with sensors, to celebrate the anniversary of its partnership with this iconic car.

For a quarter of a century, Pirelli has supplied tires for the Audi RS4. To celebrate this partnership, the manufacturer is offering two wrap options for the anniversary edition of the latest generation of this iconic car. As original equipment, he equips it with Pirelli P Zero Corsa. But in addition, the brand provides a Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS kit for the track.

Both models are supplied in 275/30R20 dimensions. The first is already a high-performance tyre suitable for sporty driving. It is inspired by technologies developed for racing. On the road, this model offers high levels of traction, comfort and safety on wet surfaces. While the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS is a semi-slick tyre approved for the road. Custom-made for this car, they are equipped with Pirelli Cyber ​​Tyre sensors. These detect the condition of the tyres and the driving conditions.

A sports assistance simulator

This second tire model is combined with the Pirelli Track Adrenaline system. During track sessions, this system acts as a “virtual engineer”. It collects the information sent by the sensors by associating it with a high-precision GPS module. By exploiting telemetry from the control unit, it records lap times and calculates the ideal trajectory. In return, this system transmits its analyzes to the driver via an application downloadable to a smartphone. This data can therefore improve your driving technique.

But for motorsport lovers, the icing on the cake is available when they take a passenger on board. They can then activate “live view” mode. The Pirelli Track Adrenaline then acts like a Formula 1 team radio. It emits immediate and brief assistance messages to the driver, suggesting, for example, to warm up their tires or to return to the pits…
