Xbox Cloud Gaming: You can stream your own games now!

After years of waiting, Microsoft has just announced that it is now possible to stream your own games via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Confirmed for November by Sarah Bond recently, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now play certain games from their own library via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Starting today, we're excited to announce that Game Pass Ultimate members can stream select games they already own through connected TVs and browsers, on compatible devices like smartphones, PCs and tablets. This feature is available in all 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming (beta) is accessible. And this is just the beginning: next year, this feature will arrive on Xbox consoles and the Xbox app for Windows.

For the moment, only 50 games are compatible, including Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, Baldur's Gate 3, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition, Life is Strange: Double Exposure and Hades. The full list can be found below.

How to play your own games via Xbox Cloud Gaming?

If you want to enjoy your Cloud games via Xbox Cloud Gaming on PC, smartphone, tablet or another device with a browser, here are the steps to follow:

Use a compatible browser like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari.
Go to xbox.com/play.
Sign in with your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
Locate the “Resume your game” section to see titles playable with Xbox Cloud Gaming (beta).
Connect a compatible controller, such as the Xbox Wireless Controller, PlayStation DualSense, or DualShock 4. On PC, some games also support keyboard and mouse.
