Xbox has never hidden it, its goal is to offer its Xbox Game Pass service on as many devices as possible. And a new step has just been reached with this partnership established between Microsoft and Amazon.

The Xbox Game Pass service first arrived on console, on PC, then in the Cloud via the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offer which allows you to play hundreds of games remotely and without a console.
In 2022, Microsoft announced that its Xbox application, which provides access to cloud gaming via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, was available on compatible Samsung TVs. This suddenly allowed millions of customers to play Xbox games via the cloud without a console.
Today, the brand announces a partnership with Amazon to offer this same Xbox application on the Amazon Fire TV Stick, this small device that plugs into the TV and allows you to launch dozens of applications such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube or Molotov.tv.
Xbox Game Pass availability on Amazon Fire TV
The Xbox application will “soon” be available on the Fire TV Stick 4K Max 2023, sold at €79.99, and the Fire TV Stick 4K 2023, sold at €69.99. Here’s how to enjoy Xbox Game Pass on Amazon Fire TV:
- Install the Xbox app from your Fire TV device
- Log in with your Microsoft account to the application

- Connect a Bluetooth-compatible wireless controller and start playing. Controllers like the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, DualSense or PlayStation DualShock 4 are all compatible.
