Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree: the update makes the game (a little) less difficult! | Xbox

The difficulty of Elden Ring is a subject that comes up very often and this is even more the case with the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, considered very difficult by the community. But the developers have just released an update that adjusts certain elements and the difficulty of the game.

Elden Ring becomes a little easier under a certain condition

From Software seems to have heard and listened to the players who are complaining about the difficulty of Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree since the update 1.12.2 which has just been released brings some expected changes. Here are the details of the changes.

The attack curve and damage scaling of Blessing of the Eldritch Tree has been revised.

  • Attack and damage effects have been increased for the first ten levels of Blessing of the Eldritch Tree, and the second half will now be more progressive.
  • The effects of attacks and damage granted by the last level have been slightly increased.

In addition to these adjustments to make players a little stronger, the developers invite players to check their settings because there is a bug with Ray Tracing.

If your framerate is unstable, check the “SYSTEM” > “Graphics Settings” > “Raytracing Quality” settings from the title menu or in-game menu to see if it has been unintentionally set to “ON” . Once set to “OFF”, Ray Tracing will no longer be automatically activated.

We also know that other balancing adjustments as well as bug fixes are also planned for a future Elden Ring update, stay tuned to be kept informed.
