“She is joy incarnate,” he declared recently. Robert De Niro, 80, once again spoke about his daughter Gia in the columns of Haute Living , Tuesday June 4. The actor notably described the 1-year-old girl, born from his relationship with Tiffany Chen in April 2023, as a “little doll”. “I’m lucky,” he said. I received help to take care of my children, my babies, to make it easier to manage. Gia is a little doll.” Before adding: “This baby is so cute, so innocent and so adorable. Every little word she says – or every little beginning of a word she starts to say – is very sweet and cute. It’s as simple as that.”

An “adorable” baby
The hero of Killers of the Flower Moon (2023) further discussed Gia’s first word. “My partner told me she said a word that sounded like ‘daddy’ yesterday,” he revealed. I wasn’t there, but my daughter was looking for something yesterday, and she said this word.” In February, Robert De Niro was already amazed in the magazine People : “He’s such an adorable baby. She is so sweet. When I look at it, it overshadows everything else. So it’s a great joy and a great relief to be with her in the present moment.” The actor is also the father of six other children: Drena, born in 1967, Raphael, born in 1976, the twins Julian and Aaron, born in 1995, Elliot, born in 1997, and Helen, born in 2011.
