In its Legion range, Lenovo has designed the Slim series in which the configurations combine power, mobility and AI optimization. A versatile and flexible gaming laptop
According to the Chinese manufacturer, the Lenovo Legion Slim are more optimized for nomadic use than other gaming laptops. This Lenovo Legion Slim 5 is however not lighter than average, but it has a high capacity 80 Wh battery allowing it to last within 7 hours of normal use, which is rare for a laptop of this type. Other features: its foldable hinge up to 180° and its 16-inch screen in 16:10 format give it a more work and productivity-oriented appearance.
The screen, in fact, is an IPS-LCD panel, a display technology popular with gamers since it provides open viewing angles and good colorimetry, 100% of the sRGB range in this case. On the definition side, we are on WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) and the refresh rate peaks up to 240 Hz, which is perfect for enjoying any game in the best conditions. The ideal configuration to stay in first place

With a TGP of 140 W, it is obviously capable of running the latest AAA games and those to come in 1440p and at more than 60 FPS. We also benefit from ray-tracing and DLSS 3 for a better gaming experience. We can quibble about its lack of VRAM given that there is only 8 GB, but overall, this graphics card is at least on the same level as the RTX 3080.
With the RTX 4070, the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 is equipped with a Ryzen 7 7840HS, an octa-core processor capable of reaching a maximum speed of 5.1 GHz and accompanied by a Radeon 780M to take over tasks light graphics so that the laptop does not constantly rely on the RTX 4070. This processor is assisted by 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, which allows it to engage in multitasking and other resource-intensive areas without flinching.
