The National Rally unites and divides

The rise of Jordan Bardella’s National Rally during the previous European elections as well as the rise of the far right in France led the left and environmentalists to unite with the New Popular Front. According to the latest polls, the RN would garner more than 35% of voting intentions. If this intention comes to fruition, this would allow the party to obtain between 220 to 260 seats in the National Assembly.

Renaissance and its allies are stagnating

Despite interventions in various media, participation in debates, and the promotion of Emmanuel Macron following the dissolution, the Renaissance party is falling behind the New Popular Front and the RN. According to Harris Interactive, the presidential majority would obtain 21% of voting intentions, an increase of 2 to 3 points compared to the beginning of the month. If these intentions were to turn into results, the party would save between 75 to 110 seats in the Chamber.

The union of the left at the front against the RN

The union of left-wing parties (LFI, PS, Les Ecologistes, etc.) with the creation of the New Popular Front is credited with 28% of voting intentions and announced as the second political group in number of seats in the National Assembly. But the NFP is almost 8 points behind the National Rally according to voting intentions based on the selected institute.

Some parties fail to stand out and gain points like Les Républicains, a party marked by Eric Ciotti’s support for the RN against the historic LR channel, and announced at 5% according to voting intentions, indicates Ifop-Fiducial.
