Google is accelerating the deployment of its artificial intelligence and quietly expanding the use of Gemini in Messages to more Android devices.
Google Gemini is an intelligent Chatbot integrated into the Messages app. This conversational AI is supposed to revolutionize the use of smartphones according to Google, but it is not available to everyone.
Only a small number of smartphones are compatible at the moment. The Google Pixel 8 Pro and the Samsungs Galaxy S24 were the first to benefit from it. Google has also made a gesture towards Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a owners by unlocking the function (If you want to install follow our tutorial).
The circle was then widened to Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23Galaxy Z or even Pixel 6. The list doesn’t go any further.

The post on the Google blog contains a disturbing element. The company says Gemini in Messages works in English on some devices. A link redirects us to the Support page and we can read that the requirements are only to have an Android device with 6GB of RAM and that it supports English.
This indication opens new perspectives for Android smartphone users in other countries. Gemini will be able to become widespread.
