Samsung is expected to introduce its new Galaxy Buds 3 next month. A few weeks before the announcement, here is a first photo of their packaging.
In a few weeks, Samsung is expected to officially present its new product line at the Galaxy Unpacked conference. If we are particularly awaiting the new foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, the new Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra watches, as well as the Galaxy Ring connected ring, Samsung should also take advantage of the event to unveil its new wireless headphones.
For several weeks, the clues have already been multiplying about headphones with a completely new format, far from the button aspect, inserted entirely in the ear, of previous generations. This time it’s the site 91Mobiles who published a photo of what appears to be the packaging of the future Samsung Galaxy Buds 3, obtained thanks to a “industrial source“.
Stem headphones, like AirPods
You can discover, on the front of the packaging, the name of the headphones as well as an image of their design. As expected, the Galaxy Buds 3 should adopt a completely new format, with a stem system like the AirPods or the JBL Live Beam 3. Remember in this respect that Samsung is not completely a newcomer in this format of headphones, since the Japanese firm also owns the Harman Kardon group and therefore the JBL and AKG brands. The Galaxy Buds 3 should also be stamped with the AKG logo on the outside of the earbuds. They should also benefit from an in-ear format providing passive isolation in addition to active noise reduction.
In addition to the visual displayed on the front of the box, the leak from 91Mobiles also allows us to discover the back with some characteristics. According to the information displayed, the Galaxy Buds 3 should offer up to six hours of battery life with fast charging allowing one hour of listening time thanks to 10 minutes of charging. Finally, the headphones could also include a “adjustable ear hooks», probably in the form of removable fins to best hold the headphones in the ear canal.
We should know more about the Galaxy Buds 3 and Samsung’s high-end models, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, during their official presentation. This is expected on July 10 during the Galaxy Unpacked conference which should be held in Paris.
