A record number of 40 exhibitors await you for the 5th edition of the Beers, Wines & Terroir festival

The Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel Beers, Wines & Terroir festival invites you to participate in its 5th edition which will take place on June 28, 29 and 30 at the Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel municipal park, located at the back from the municipal building at 1687, chemin du Chenal-du-Moine. Opening hours are Friday June 28 from 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday June 29 from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday June 30 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (but access to the site on Sunday ends at 5 p.m.).

A record number of 40 exhibitors

In order to properly celebrate this 5th edition, festival-goers will be able to discover a record number of 40 exhibitors, 50% of whom are new exhibitors; 11 microbreweries, 7 distilleries, 6 vineyards, 7 food trucks, 9 food producers and other exhibitors.


Musical programming

A pop Friday awaits festival-goers on June 28 with Laurence Nerbonne’s show at 9:15 p.m. On Saturday, June 29 at 7:15 p.m., it will be the turn of Quebec harmonica player, author, composer and performer Guy Bélanger, followed by the group Bodh’aktan who will be on stage from 9:15 p.m. with its six musicians and their festive music.

On Sunday June 30 at 2:15 p.m., the group Les Fils du Diable will set the place alight. This year, Irish music will vibrate as groups follow one another and circulate throughout the site, transporting this traditional and unique music. Finally, to mark the 5th edition of the festival, a fireworks display will take place on Friday, June 28 starting at 10:40 p.m. on the river in front of Île du Moine, near the lighthouse and opposite the festival site. The 5 to 7 of the festival organized with L’Effet Boeuf

The traditional 5 à 7 of the festival organized this year in collaboration with L’Effet Boeuf will take place on Friday June 28. This is an exclusive tasting activity, accompanied by beers, wines, spirits and appetizers, as well as music under a large marquee on the quay along the river. Pre-sale tickets are already sold out.

The islands on the board, a new activity to highlight the river

The festival, in collaboration with the Sorel-Tracy and region tourist office, Eau Vive Québec and Passion Planches, will organize a first “stand up paddle” race in the Sorel islands. The departure and arrival will take place on the quay on the festival site on Saturday June 29 at 6 p.m. It is possible to register for 2.5 km, 5 km or 10 km circuits on the festival website.

A record number of more than 2000 tickets

The pre-sale was very popular this year as a record number of more than 2,000 tickets were sold, including 5 to 7 tickets and VIP passes. Remember that entry to the site is free. You are invited to purchase exchangeable tickets to obtain the official glass and bracelet of the festival, they will be required by exhibitors to taste beers, wines and spirits. There will once again be Desjardins ATMs installed at the entrance to the site. Tastings are payable in cash to exhibitors.

2) At the Grange à Houblon at 225, boulevard Poliquin in Sorel-Tracy;
3) At CJSO 101.7 FM, at 100, boulevard Gagné in Sorel-Tracy.

The glass and bracelet will also be on sale during the festival for $32 (taxes included). The cost of parking on site is $5. The Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel Beers, Wines & Terroir Festival is presented by Tourisme Montérégie, Desjardins, Sorel-Tracy Nissan, Sorel-Tracy Mitsubishi, Ford Sorel-Tracy, Honda Sorel-Tracy, Volkswagen Sorel-Tracy and Marina Tracy Sports in collaboration with CJSO 101.7 FM.
