Fortunately, this mode “ Maximum restrictions » is not enabled by default. So only users who have already activated it will face this problem. If you notice that Android Auto is no longer working, you will simply have to disable this mode.
To do this, go to the Settings of your Samsung smartphone, then go to “ Security and Privacy “, Then ” Automatic blocker » and deactivate the option “ Maximum restrictions “. After which, Android Auto should work normally again over the wired connection.
If you want to keep the Auto Blocker feature for added security, just make sure to keep the “ Maximum restrictions ” disabled. You may, however, be asked to enter your PIN if you decide to completely disable Auto Blocker.
