Big promotion on the latest Eufy security cameras, up to -38%!

Anker’s home automation division offers a new range of security cameras with 2 lenses. These offer very good value for money, especially when they are on sale like today.

A range of cameras with two optics

Like Anker, eufy intends to benefit its customers high-performance hardware offered at an affordable price, and not requiring a subscription to have all the features, which is not always the case with competitors. After having tested a good number of products on the market, I particularly appreciate the eufy cameras and doorbells for their responsiveness and the stability of the system, to the point of having equipped my own home with them.

It is therefore with interest that we welcome these new Indoor Camera S350, SoloCam S340, Floodlight Cam E340 and the Video Doorbell E340. These new products are distinguished by the presence of two opticsallowing you to benefit from 3 or 4K recordings on the main lens depending on the model (2K on the doorbell which also has a downward-facing camera to detect packages) and a 3x optical zoom (a zoom hybrid x8 is also in the game).

The three cameras are motorized to allow 360 degree surveillance and machine learning algorithms provide tracking of a moving subject with local processing.

HomeKit for absent subscribers

Storage is done locally on SD cards or via compatibility with HomeBase 3, eliminating the need for a subscription. A good point. The company used to offer HomeKit compatibility, which does not seem to be on the agenda for these new products. It’s a shame, but in use I prefer most of the time to use the dedicated App in order to obtain live views and recordings in full qualitymuch higher than the maximum 1080p of Apple’s service.
