Available in yellow, gray and black, it is part of the mid-range family. Its Dimensity 8300-ultra processor model from Sigmatek peaking at 3.35 GHz does much better than the Spnapdragon 7 Gen 3 generally integrated into this market segment.

With a version where there is 12GB of RAM as well as 512GB of stock, the fluidity of the experience is very good. The camera remains interesting but limited in macro mode, the video can reach a maximum resolution of 4K. The brightness level remains quite average since it goes up to 1800 nits.

This product seems interesting at first glance, but it is the other side of the story that is hidden in the user experience. Xiaomi persists in installing unwanted third-party applications, some of which, such as their Internet browser, cannot be uninstalled. Regularly, installation notifications appear regularly.

On the home screen, same feeling with unsolicited suggestions. This taints the user experience which gives the impression of having bought an advertising smartphone. Fortunately, the quality-price ratio seems interesting and well placed among its competitors.

In the box: charger, USB-C cable, bumper, pre-installed tempered glass, SIM tray tool.

Recommendation: 4/5

Approximate price: around €379, 12 GB of Ram and 512 GB of storage version.

First video acquisition card tested among technophiles: this is a card from the manufacturer Avermedia. What is this actually used for? Capture like a YouTuber video streams that can go up to a resolution of 4K at 30 frames per second. All you need is a PC and an available PCI Express 1.0 port.

The latter is generally free of any electronic card, even if you will have to unscrew your desktop PC case. On the outside of the card there is an HDMI input to process the video stream which could be for example a console, and on the other hand an output to have a visual of the result live.

Preferably, your PC must have 16 GB of RAM as well as an Intel I5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor, penultimate generation. An SSD hard drive will then be preferred for execution speed. The result is clean and of high quality, although we regret that you will have to obtain software specialized in video processing in order to insert options to your liking.

Priced at €150, we still feel the good construction of the electronic circuits designed for long recording sessions.

In the box: In addition to the capture card, an HDMI 2.0 cable

Recommendation: 3.5/5

Price: around €150
