Mobile Arrow Lakes would be effective if not powerful

The launch of the next generations of Intel processors seems all planned out. Arrow Lake or Core Ultra 200 fifteenth generation could be launched at the end of 2024 or start of 2025 (models H, HX and S).

The Panther Lakes (Sixteenth generation Core Ultra 300), for their part, will require a little more patience, as they are not expected before the start of 2026. If these future CPUs remain quite mysterious (especially Panther Lake), it is still possible to gather some information about them.

For example, shipping manifests allow you to learn a little more about CPUs intended for mobile segment. Thus, the Core Ultra 200 will be divided into three categories: H, HS and U depending on the targeted segment.

The S CPUs will be reserved for desktop segment while the others will therefore power the laptops. THE Panther Lakewould be available in the following variants: UH, UPH and P.

Arrow Lake mobile configuration leaked

Arrow Lake processors should benefit from a architectural change by integrating new P-Core (Lion Cove) And E-Core (Skymont). For example, the Core Ultra 200 HX should have 8 P-Cores and 16 E-Cores.

THE Arrow Lake-H adopt a configuration 14 cores (6+8)similar to that of the Raptor Lake Refresh-P and H CPUs. Finally, the U processors will use 10 cores including 2 P-Core and 8 E-Core. As a result, all of these processors would logically be less powerful and more focused on energy efficiency.

Regarding the graphic part, processors are supposed to be based on architecture Arc Alchemist Xe-LPG (HX) and LPG+ (H and U). The burning node used for the iGPU of the chips would be the TSMC N4 process.

In contrast, the shipping manifest suggests that the N3B engraving node of TSMC should also be used. This would particularly concern the architecture of computer chips high-end laptops.

LPDDR5X memory for Panther Lake

Unfortunately, if it is possible to get a little closer to the Core Ultra 300, the information available on the various manifests remain succinct. Apart from the different variants UH, UPH and P, it is possible to see the type of memory used by Panther Lake.

Intel reportedly plans to incorporate a LPDDR5X VRAM on the models UH and P, as on the U versions not mentioned in the manifesto. The latter, however, says nothing for the Core Ultra 300 UPH. Nevertheless, the RAM of these Intel processors should be quite flexible and should go beyond the capabilities of LPDDR5X memory 16 or 32 GB.

  • The configuration of mobile Arrow Lake CPUs and Panther Lake memory have reportedly leaked.
  • The Core Ultra 200 HX, H and U laptops would have 24, 14 and 10 cores.
  • The Panther Lake UH, P and U would adopt LPDDR5X type RAM.
