The company’s statistics prove it: avoiding speed controls has long been no longer the quality most appreciated by users of Coyote boxes. Slowdowns, bad weather, obstacles on the road, ghost drivers, this is what is most valuable for drivers, who above all want to drive in complete safety. And all the new features of the Coyote Max case go in this direction. For example, the readability of information is essential to avoid distracting attention from the road. The entire interface and visual alerts have therefore been redesigned, as have the audio alerts. Thus the alert icons concerning the presence of radar remain triangular, while the others are now square in shape, with different color codes depending on the importance of the danger.
Voice control
But the most important and most anticipated development in our opinion is the introduction of conversational voice control. Indeed, with Coyote or with other road information sharing applications, it was always necessary to perform a few (quick) manipulations on the screen to inform other users of the presence of a danger. Somewhere, there was this paradox of having to adopt dangerous behavior (taking your eyes off the road, letting go of the steering wheel) to signal danger. The Coyote Max therefore provides the solution, since we can now signal this danger out loud, while keeping our eyes on the traffic and our hands on the wheel. Coyote takes a serious lead over the competition here. And when we wonder how something new didn’t yet exist, it’s because we have something really useful.
