However, it does indeed appear on a sign located on the mountain path leading to the Seealpsee from the Aescher hut, in the half-canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden. Enough to arouse the astonishment of many users on the Reddit platform. Under the publication of a photo of the said panel, around fifty comments appeared in a few days. While some express outrage at the use of the term “leash” for children, most are understanding of the usefulness of the recommendation.
Because, in fact, if this sign is there, it is not by chance: the path in question is located not far from cliffs. “Children are often very agitated, if you take your eyes off them for a second and they trip, the consequences can be fatal,” explains the owner of the Aescher hut. The woman also offers leashes for rental, a “widely used” offer. As for the use of the word “leash”, criticized by some, “the most important thing is that everyone understands the message”, believes the manager.
