Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which will be equipped with a customized version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, designed specifically for the Galaxy.

Here’s what we know

This chipset, manufactured using a 3nm process, promises significant improvements over previous models. Qualcomm announces a 45% increase in processor performance and 44% in power efficiency.

Recent Geekbench benchmark results of the Galaxy S25 Ultra with model number “SM-S938U” showed impressive scores: 3148 in single-core mode and 10236 in multi-core mode. This is an increase of 35% in single-core mode and 45% in multi-core mode compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Previously, the S25 Ultra scored 3069 in single-core mode and 9080 in multi-core mode, indicating better heat dissipation and performance optimization. Although Samsung considered using its Exynos 2500, the company seems to have opted for the Snapdragon 8 Elite for mass production.

The device remains equipped with 12 GB of RAM, just like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra could change. The flagship could have rounded corners and a flat screen, which would make it similar to other models in the series.
