Good deal – The Sennheiser GSP 670 “5-star” Gaming & microphone headset at €147.22 (-19%)

After the excellent GSP 600 and GSP 500, we welcome the standard bearer of helmets to our lab gaming from Sennheiser: the GSP 670. Will the brand’s first wireless model reshuffle the cards and dethrone the best?

First test in a wireless version that was generally successful for Sennheiser and its GSP 670. This headset retains the strengths of the excellent GSP 500 and 600, with beautiful sound reproduction (although a little less controlled) and above all an extremely efficient microphone. However, it is difficult not to be frustrated by certain small ergonomic failures given the great pretensions of this headset. If you are ready to invest this much in a wireless model, we can only advise you to take a look at the Astro A50, the Cloud Flight or the RIG 800 before making any purchasing decision.

The GSP 600 marks a very successful entry into our comparison. It offers everything you expect from a closed-back wired gaming headset: a robust and careful design, great ease of use, a comfortable fit, incredibly effective isolation, very clean and clear voice pickup as well as ‘precise, balanced and above all immersive sound reproduction. However, its small clamping effect and its weight can be off-putting, especially if you have a large head or are looking for a headset that can be forgotten. We then advise you to take a look at the HyperX Cloud Alpha which is, moreover, much more affordable.
