The instant messaging application WhatsApp announced on its blog the deployment of personalized lists, a new feature allowing users to classify and filter their chats efficiently.
In essence, messaging app WhatsApp has introduced a chat filtering feature that allows users to categorize certain chats and groups as favorites.
Now this feature is more advanced, offering the ability to create custom categories to sort conversations. Additionally, the app’s UI will appear less cluttered.
To enable this new feature, users need to tap the “+” icon located in the filter bar.
“You can easily create a list by tapping the + in the filter bar at the top of the Discussions tab or edit a list by long-pressing it,” the app explains on its blog.
This feature is currently available and will be accessible to all users in the coming weeks, continues the same source.
