When will Android 15 be released on Samsung smartphones? This is the question that torments many Galaxy users, who would like to take advantage of the new features of the new major version of the operating system.
Google rolled out Android 15 to its Pixel smartphones on October 15. It is now up to partner manufacturers to do the same for their own smartphones, a more or less long process depending on each person’s practices. It’s like every year a long-distance race, and Samsung will soon put on his sports shoes.
The One UI 7 beta will eventually arrive
Samsung will not offer Android 15 as is, the manufacturer delivering its own One UI overlay, in this case it will be One UI 7. The final version is expected at the beginning of next year, however it will be possible to participate in the beta… in some time. It is indeed the most total vagueness, the program should have started in July but it was postponed indefinitely.
Courage ! According to Ice Universe, a leaker who generally has very good information on what is happening behind the scenes at Samsung, this famous program would begin in two weeks, that is to say mid-November. Samsung is organizing a developer conference on November 21, which would be an ideal time to present the new features of One UI 7.
Furthermore, beta web pages have appeared for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24, which means that they will be among the first models to benefit from Android 15, which seems logical. We have established the list of smartphones that will (probably) be served:

Apart from the new features of Android 15, One UI 7 will offer new icons for Samsung apps, a shortcuts pane, additional animations and certainly many other changes and improvements.
Google is looking to speed up the Android update process for other manufacturers. Android 16 will therefore be delivered much earlier next year to better match the launch schedule for new smartphones.
