- Katy Perry celebrated her 40the birthday in Geneva.
- The festivities included dinners at prestigious venues around the city.
- CERN and the Grand Théâtre were notably privatized.
Geneva is obviously a key destination for certain international stars. Last week, American singer Katy Perry went to the City of Calvin to celebrate her birthday. Numerous photos and videos from his entourage show that the pop star luxuriously celebrated his 40th birthday in several emblematic places, before continuing the festivities in other cities in Europe. Here are the main elements, found by the “Tribune de Genève”.
Created for the occasion, the “KP40” logo (for Katy Perry 40 years old) appears in almost all the photos and videos: projected on the ceiling, on napkins, on gifts intended for guests, in the various places where the singer celebrated its passage into a new decade. Contacted several times, Katy Perry’s agency – CAA – did not respond to our requests. It is difficult to say in what order these visits took place.
But these are documented by numerous images posted on social networks by those close to the singer who participated in the party. Personalities from the world of music, but also members of her team, as hairdressers and makeup artists. A kit was given to them with a description of the program, games, and even a fake syringe of Ozempic, a treatment for diabetes used by certain celebrities to suppress appetite: a nod from the singer to media speculation on his recent weight loss, analyzes the English tabloid “The Daily Mirror»who heard about this gift box.
Dinner at the Grand Théâtre
What we do know is that a dinner took place in the foyer of the Grand Théâtre on the evening of October 24. Numerous videos posted on social media show dozens of guests around tables garnished with flowers, embroidered napkins and candlesticks surrounding the singer dressed in a red dress and her husband, actor Orlando Bloom.
Under the auspices of the opera, the guests attended a piano recital, among others, and tasted fillet of beef, Mont-d’Or with truffle, strawberries and elderberry sorbet, we can read on the menu: The Grand Théâtre”, dated 24. Who took care of the meal? How much does it cost to rent the home? The institution indicates that it does not communicate about its clients.
According to our sources, and as photos show, several renowned personalities – including Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and actress Cameron Diaz – were part of the assembly. Contacted, their agencies did not respond. But the billionaire and his wife, Lauren Sanchez, are indeed close friends of Katy Perry, the international tabloids having often reported their joint vacations.

According to our information, on the evening of October 23, a dinner also took place at the Swiss specialty restaurant Edelweiss, located on the Place de la Navigation, in Les Pâquis. On site, no one speaks because confidentiality contracts have been signed. The nearby merchants that we contacted saw nothing. But according to our information, on the evening of the dinner, access to the restaurant was secure. The guests, including, according to our sources, the singer Sia, ate röstis, cheese and chocolate fondues, with a yodeling concert in the background. Contacted, the restaurant did not respond.
Visit to Patek Philippe and CERN
Photos also show that some of the singer’s relatives went to the Patek Philippe museum, on rue des Vieux-Grenadiers, in the Plainpalais district. Still according to our sources, this visit would have been organized for around fifty people, including Cameron Diaz. Orlando Bloom went to the watch brand’s show. Contacted, the brand did not respond to our requests.
Guests of the KP40 event also posted photos of the Ritz-Carlton Hôtel de la Paix, located on the Quai du Mont-Blanc. Is this where Katy Perry’s entourage slept? The establishment does not “disclose any information”.
An event also took place in the Globe of Science and Innovation, at CERN, near Meyrin. We see the singer’s logo projected and an audience of guests facing a presentation broadcast on screen, presumably presenting the activity of the center, which has not yet responded to our requests. According to the CERN website, the space can accommodate up to 300 people. The daily rate varies between 15,000 and 60,000 francs depending on the spaces requested.

Finally, the participants, some of whom appear to have visited the city by bike, also took the luxury Venice Simplon-Orient-Express train, departing from Geneva. A prestigious convoy whose 17 cars were built between 1926 and 1931 and for which you have to pay at least around 4,000 francs per person for a night in the cabin.
We notably see the singer Sia speaking (or singing) into the microphone, alongside Katy Perry, in front of a swarm of cell phones. When contacted, the artist’s agency also did not respond.
The train from the Belmond hotel group, which also did not respond to our requests, probably took all these beautiful people to Amsterdam, where other birthday festivities were organized, again according to images posted on the social networks of the close to the American artist.
