ASTRO BOT: Team Asobi will release 5 updates, here’s what to expect

The excitement of its launch now past, ASTRO BOT was no longer talked about as much, but he will come back to the forefront this week! During the recent State of Playwe indeed had a glimpse of the DLC free thate Team Asobi will add at the end of 2024, notably with Bots having the appearance of a soldier Helldivers 2 andEVE of Stellar Blade. We only knew then that these new features would arrive this fall without further details… until this Wednesday. Instead of making everything available through a single update, the same process as with Astro’s Playroom will take place, but without too much waiting at a weekly rate for five weeksas detailed on the PlayStation Blog by Nicolas Doucet.

So, the levels speedrun will be added every Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the following way:

  • October 17: Turbo Works – Meet Barkster, the bulldog booster and speed through a city in the clouds. You will have to avoid cranes, run into crates and even cross a flying car wash in order to rescue your crew members;
  • October 24: Freezing Slide ;
  • October 31: Powered Walk ;
  • November 7: Pumped up! ;
  • November 14: Rise of Mercury ;

They will all havean online ranking allowing us to compare our prowess with our friendsa good engine to redo them and try to stay first! Furthermore, these are two Bots additional people that will have to be rescued in each of these levels. Will there finally be characters from Final Fantasy ? Given the response that was given, this seems unlikely.

Furthermore, the article ends as follows:

Stay tuned, new surprises may appear soon.

Nicolas Doucet had already indicated that he wanted to offer another type of content, so it could be that Sony Interactive Entertainment allowed developers to bring their ideas to life. Wait & see.

If you don’t already have it, ASTRO BOT is sold for €59.99 at Fnac and at Cdiscount.
