The Ace 5 Pro Ace 5 Pro is expected to launch as a discounted alternative to the upcoming OnePlus 13 with sub-flagship tweaks such as a lower resolution (1.5K) of the brand’s latest version of the X2
It would also feature the same Sony IMX906 primary rear sensor as its predecessor, but with a portrait zoom rear camera for the first time. It could also have a resolution of 50MP, based on Samsung’s ISOCELL JN1 technology, according to leaker Digital Chat Station.
Additionally, these sensors could come with the same AI features as OPPO’s upcoming high-end device, the OPPO Find X8.
If this leak turns out to be correct, it would be a potentially substantial improvement to the Ace 3 Pro, a device in which the rear cameras have been neglected: they are in fact identical to those of the Ace 3 (also available on Amazon under the name OnePlus 12R) before him.
In this regard, the vanilla Ace 5 is likely to have the same hardware as its Pro counterpart – except for its chipset. Therefore, it might be able to bring its rumored camera improvements to the international market in the form of the 13R camera while the 5 Pro is expected to remain exclusively in China.
