Did you love your adventure in the magical and incredible world of Hogwarts in Hogwarts Legacy last year? Good news. While waiting for the sequel, which is now official and which will arrive in several years, Warner Bros. and Avalanche are preparing a Definitive Edition of the game with DLC which should arrive next year.
Return to Hogwarts in 2025
We have known for a few days that Hogwarts Legacy will have the right to a sequel and it is even a priority for the studio and Warner Bros. What we didn’t see coming was that DLC was coming next year via a « Definitive Edition » of the game. Via this ultimate edition of the game, players will have the joy of discovering between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. of new content with a new adventure, side quests, new outfits and more!
Ce DLC will be automatically included in the Definitive Editionwhile PC and console players who already own the game can purchase it separately. For the moment, our colleagues at Insider-Gaming who are at the origin of this information do not have any further information. However, we were able to assure them that the release of this edition was planned for 2025 in order to compensate for the loss of income linked to the failure of Suicide Squad : Kill the Justice League. Unpublished content should be sold between $20 and $30 for players who already own the original game.
Of course, this DLC was not originally planned and we hope that this will not delay the work surrounding the continuation ofHogwarts Legacy. Released in 2023, the first opus was a huge commercial success, ending the year at the top of annual sales. The game received overall excellent feedback from players and the press. For a first, the Avalanche teams clearly put on a very good game. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next!
